Ideally situated central to Victoria Square and beside the Avon River, Crowne Plaza Christchurch has the city at its doorstep. It is physically linked to the Christchurch Convention Centre and adjacent to the Christchurch Casino and is just minutes from the central business district and all leading city attractions.

Crowne Plaza Christchurch offers a range of accommodation levels from standard twin rooms to executive suites. Currently we have 117 smoking rooms and 181 non-smoking rooms. We have two rooms with facilities for guests with disabilities on each of the floors from floor 5 to floor 10. These rooms benefit from larger bathrooms with a door wide enough to get a wheelchair through. There is a hand held showerhead with a shower area as well as a bath. There are also handrails around the toilet. Our disabled rooms have two double beds and connects with a room containing a queen-sized bed.

This very spacious room offers one king bed, with lounge area, coffee table and a writing desk.

These suites recently redecorated consist of one king bed and a separate lounge area ideal for small gatherings with coffee table and writing desk.

Crowne Plaza Club: For guests seeking exceptional amenities and privacy, enjoy the benefits of the Crowne Plaza Club room. (located on the top two floors) including the use of the Crowne Plaza Club Lounge (located on level 6).

Crowne Plaza Club guests have all day access to the Club Lounge and are entitled to a complimentary continental breakfast from 6:30am to 10:30am and evening cocktails from 5:30pm to 7:00pm seven days a week. Crowne Plaza Club guests are also entitled to complimentary pressing and ironing of two items of clothing per day.
