Kuranda, Army Duck Tour, Tjapukai, Train, Skyrail and Tropical BBQ Lunch
Your day commences with a journey on the breathtaking Kuranda Scenic Railway. After arriving at tropical Kuranda station you will have free time to explore the village including the famous Kuranda markets (Wed, Thur, Fri, Sun).
From here it is onto Rainforestation Nature Park, boasting 40 hectares of gardens and rainforest set amidst World Heritage areas. Ride an amphibious army duck through the rainforest. See ancient ferns and trees and spot a variety of native fauna and enjoy a delicious barbecue Tropical Buffet Lunch.
Ride the Skyrail cable car from Kuranda to Caravonica at the bottom of the range and either transfer or walk to adjacent Tjapukai Aboriginal Theme Park and view the 3 theatres, museum, art gallery and a traditional Aboriginal Camp combine to give you a complete and meaningful glimpse of the ancient culture of the Aboriginal people.
Transfer back to your accommodation.
