Region: Whitsundays and Mackay (QLD) | Duration: 7 Days | Commences: Tues: Shute Harbour Sat: Airlie Beach
A picture of the tour
The Whitsundays have a lot to offer. Airlie Beach - our base, is a unique seaside village acting as a getaway to the 74 beautiful Whitsunday Islands, and the Great Barrier Reef. Nestled in the Conway range, Airlie Beach is surrounded by tropical rainforest and dotted with palm trees.

With her classic lines and timeless elegance, the 72' schooner "Windjammer" is considered to be one of the most beautiful yachts ever to be built in Australia. Whilst built in the best traditions of her past offering sailing as it was in yesteryear that is where the resemblance to her predecessors end. Below decks she is luxuriously appointed, the interior adorned with New Guinea rosewood and fittings from a bygone era. The large uncluttered decks and spacious cockpit are ideal for enjoying a leisurely lunch or soaking up the tropical sunshine. While Windjammer is fully crewed with skipper and hostess, guests are encourage to take the wheel, tend the sheets, or for the more adventurous, climb the ratlines and for fine tune the 70' of canvas above the deck. Accommodation is in 4 cabins catering for up to 10 guests.
